I have a 355 sbc in a 255" RED. Last year the car went 7.01 @ 185, 1.00 60' best with an unstripped 6-71@ 25% OD, hat injection-only - bird Enderle cube BV, hat nozzles 48-52, steel DART 230 heads and an MSD 7AL3. Static CR ->10.3 Main jet was 65 ( I don't think I was burning all the alcohol with the weak 7AL3 - Spud's guide said I should be +/- 90) with high speed @ 50 psi & a 50 pill and 35 degrees lead, 24lbs boost, Over the winter I changed to a 10-71 stripped std helix blower @ 15% OD, an A/FD injector, port injection manifold and an MSD 10+ ignition with a trigger. Anybody can suggest a baseline tune-up for this new combination?..Nozzles in the injector are .034 and in the manifold .050 so the tuning will be through the manifold injectors with +/- 170 psi fuel pressure - Enderle 600 pump (9.2 GPM) @ 68% capacity @ 8000 with last year's set-up. Any advice to get me started in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks ITA

Hi, senior moments, I was wondering if you ever worked out your tune up with the port nozzles, I have a r e d with a very similar combo, just using the hat nozzles now but I have ports, enderle's base line is a lot different. I would appreciate any help. my email is rsr0@att.net thanks, racerralph

don't you want more fuel thru the nozzles to keep supercharger cool and use the manifold to help individual cylinders . if I am understanding you correct you have smaller nozzles up top thru the injector. you went to larger blower with less overdrive so your boost will be affected.the main pill you had with the last set up makes for harder decision on pill replacement due to the percentage of change in 5 pill sizes compared to changing 100 to 105 pill less percentage of volume change. I would try the allky pro program and use your last set up and then convert to new set up and start on the rich side as your motor has not changed just the blower and injectors. boost and horsepower might be close to previous set up to get you started. if you where happy with the previous set up that would be a starting point. also when you go to port injection there is a spring poppet which you need to decide at what point in the motor rpm you want it to open so you have a clean launch not a motor that is cool from over fueling at launch stage I don't know if the alky program will adjust fuel for this as I have not played around with it enough but it will assist you in fuel nozzle and pressure changes done with each change and fuel flow to the motor.
