I have been using the NGK R5671A-10 stock number 5820, which is a silver colored or plated plug. I ran across some NGK R5671A-10 stock number 6239 which is a gold colored or plated plug. Question is: do both plugs read as well as each other or is one better than the other one for reading the plugs? I am having a hard time finding the stock number 6239 plug. Any suggestions. Roots blown hemi. PM me if needed.

The gold colored plug is very old -they did away with that plating in the early 80s I believe no big differance in how they read or perform-

Yes both plugs read the same. Something in the gold coating was suspected of causing cancer so they changed the coating. The coating on the 5671 is the same coating used on the 6061 plug. All is good.

Rockauto FTW. Buy enough the shipping is free, and it's an even better deal.
