Not long ago I posted about the crank hub coming loose.
I installed the grade 9 bolt, special washer and new hub.
After 4 hits it broke the snout off the crank. Cracked underneath the timing gear.
I run the flat back pullies and the crank showed signs of metal transfer in the past plus i had a titanium hub come loose.I think it had over 100 runs with a screw blower.
Do I need to consider a crank support to run the huge lower pulley or was this a crank that died of old age and abuse? I'd rather not have the expense and weight of the support setup.
    It was a Bryant.

    Thanks

    in my oppinion

u may have had a crack in the crank before ,
when you have a crack it will make everything come loose EVERYTHING

then when you kept the hub from coming off the crack got bigger and bigger and broke

list your combo and blower ect and some one here will tell u if u need one
in my oppion u only needa crank support on high od screwblower
