I'm new into the game of grinding the discs & floaters for this A/Fueler I'm building, and would like to know the preferred stones to use.
The grinder I got w/ the car uses a 'red' Radiac 986425 stone, that seems to do a decent job on the used floaters I had.
Do I use the same one on the discs, or a different type?
And what's the best to use for re-facing the flywheel & donut?
    Thanks!

    Clif,
We use the Radiac, we call it "Pink Stone", for putting the finish grind on floaters. If grinding wet, they will put a mirror finish on them. "WRA60 J5 V8". The "60J" are the only consistent characters on them. As for disc grinding, the discs are soft enough that just about anything will cut them, it depends on your personal preference of texture.

    stone

My stone has 'RA36 G7 V8' on it...I'd say it's a bit more wine color than pink...
    These numbers makje sense?
Other grinders I see in the pits have grey stones.

In reply to the earlier reply 'we use a diamond'; my grinder does have a side attachment wheel that has an 'oscillating arm' w/ a diamond (or something) which I guess is for the disc's, but a few have said that most don't use that system anymore.

The "diamind" is "cone " shaped, similar to the Ruby Radiac you are refering too. I purchase these from Radiac also, sorry, can't post a pic
