Looking for a set of sleeves for a short deck KB street block. It has dry straight sleeves which are about 4.690 OD which seems an odd size to me but I am not familiar with what they built for these applications. I looked at Darton Sleeves for a KB and found that they show 4.635 in straight wall and one stepped one at 4.700/4.690 with4.375 bore. I have looked a bit on line and have found nothing exactly like this block. The deck is configured with a wedge head bolt pattern, short deck, single side bolts and raised cam. The sleeves in it are 4.5 inch bore and I want to go smaller; something like 4.375 finished bore so any used sleeves below that size would work for me to install and finish bore. Standard deck sleeves would be fine, I can machine them down. Any feedback on this big, odd (to me) straight, non stepped case bore? Or on this "street" block generally?

Thanks Robert, I will do that if I get down to just buying a new set; I was hoping to find some used a bit cheaper although the shipping is a real back breaker to Canada it seems. I have a couple of nostalgia nitro funny car friends up here and am checking with them for used if the OD is the same as what they use; one has Brad billet alcohol type blocks so that might be a possibility. I have to get over there and measure some.

Thank you so much for your reply, I would be right on those if they were 4.690 OD as that seems to be what this block uses. The ID would be just fine for installation and bore to a finished size that would work for me. Jeff J
