I have couple question regarding Liner Tires more on the inner liner. I hope someone with more experience can help. It's a Hoosier Tire 34.5/17/16 with Weld rim no tube in the Liner.

1.) What the best what to keep these tire's when your between Races?

    2) How much air do you usually run in the Liner? ( Hoosier says 45 to 50lbs) I run 45lbs

One of my Liner Tires works great it holds easy 45lbs in the Liner 5.5lbs Big Tire. But the other will hold 40lbs in the liner but once I go over 40lbs it leaks into the Big Tire. Now I usually break the bead to fix this and it works then for a few days. Has anyone try the Liner down at 40Lbs?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Why no tubes in the liners? We run the liners at 50# with tubes (fixed metal stems). Set them and check periodically, they don't leak down. Run the big tires at 10# when it goes on the trailer for tiedown. We only had an issue once with the liner, a tube split in the lanes for qualifying and showed up as 15+ in the big tire while checking. It was at NED, so staging took so long we towed back to the pit, replaced the tube & made the session...

We run 50 in the liner. We also have tubes. I like the tube deal even though it’s heavier, you don’t have to keep as close an eye on it and your in trouble if it leaks from the liner to the tire in the lanes.

I started with the tubes and the big tire was ok at 10lbs but when I lowered it to 5.5lbs the big tire leaked. we took out the tubes it was fine then but it's just the one side seem to leak until we run it once. After that its ok. I may have to try the tubes again. I don't think I put them up to 50lbs and seen if they leak.

I just bought liners , are you telling me that they’re gonna leak air and require tubes. And they’re way heavier than beadlocks? Did I miss something.
