Will CA fires effect races?

    Does any one know if the fires in CA will effect the races in Pamona? I have no idea where the fires are vs. the area that the track is at? Any body know? Sign me "No good in geography" :confused:

    The fires should have no effect on racers traveling to pomona. They should be contained well before that weekend. But will the fires have an effect on racers? absolutly over 800 homes burnt to the ground and 15 people dead. Julie and I have friends that have lost it all and have worked hard just to provide some basics. Food clothes and a few toys for the kids. If you have some old clothes,toys,canned food or if you can make a donation please contact the Red Cross or local fire dept. of your choice.

    Hmmmm.... If the NFL moved their game in San Diego to Tempe, why couldn't the NHRA move Pomona to Firebird or Sonoma if conditions in the LA basin deteriorate further? Perhaps the NHRA would do the same as the NFL and give away free tickets just so the stands would be filled... :D

    Cucumunga is just 10-12 miles East of Pomona Fairplex!
