What do most Whipple guys do ? We had more luck on air throttle but have been told wide open is better but I can't see how I would tune it with 50 lbs of boost on the two step

We ran a Whipple in Europe and have run a PSI screw blower in the States. There is no problem feeding the motor enough fuel when on the Two Step. We all do it. The question is does a racer want all the boost he can get on the Two Step or a smaller amount of boost on an air throttle. For me I want all the boost I can get.

There is another alternative, some people will get an air throttle close to what they like, then add a 2 step to stabilize it.

Way different combo, but i have an air throttle, and a 2 step to fine tune it. I tune my lights with my leave RPM.

    Roots blown 387" chevy. MFI~alcohol.
