Hi Guys: I'm a newbie here. Love the website. Can anyone tell me why there are A/FD and not A/FC's? Seems to me that if they allow it with the dragsters they could allow it with the funny cars. What better way for someone to make the transition to the pro ranks.

IHRA used to allow injected fuel funnies in the late '90s. In 1998 the Cavaleri brothers had one. In 1999 Scott Weis ran 244 mph in his. The IHRA alky racers complained and injected fuel was banned for the 2000 season. Scott went T/F racing.
