who is Mike Lewis?

    there is an entry in TAD for Indy for a guy named Mike Lewis.

    Anyone know who this is?
    It says Conway Automotive. I assume that's Tom Conway unless I hear otherwise.... can't think of how else the driver would have enough grade points to enter at this time otherwise.

    He works for DSR. Great Guy!!! Great Driver. He's been around racing for years and years. He has family involvement from Maple Grove.

    Mike Lewis has rented a ride from Conway before.

    I first met Mike when he used to announce at National Events around the same time Big Mac was announcing.

    If I remember correctly, Mike was also manager of IRP a while back...I could be wrong about that but I doubt it. Now he works for DSR.

    Mike is a pretty goof golfer, too. About as good as Wilkerson. :D

    I believe he was the manager of maple grove.

    Yes Mike did manage IRP back in mid to late 90's and Maple Grove before that he is a class act, stand up guy

    Mike is the Sr. VP of DSR. His family owns Maple Grove, and he was at one time a VP at NHRA.

    Mike will drive Conway's car Indy and Reading. He also, when he has time, drives my Don Schumacher's Wonder Wagon AA/FC. He drove it at the Joliet National event this year, and at the NHRA Bowling Green Reunion.

    They don't come any better than Mike.

    Would love to have him announcing again too.

    Great.

    Frey and Lewis annoucing TAD would be excellent.

    Mike Lewis is one of, if not the nicest guys around the sport. Him, and his brother Kent, are two great guys in the sport of drag racing. Make sure you nead to Maple Grove for the Geezers race in September to see Mike in action! And stop in and say hi to Kent as well...

    Who is Mike Lewis???!!!

    Ok people lets get this straight... Mike Lewis is the life-line of Maple Grove. He was one of the biggest reasons my family,Harry Hall"Shenandoah" Racing got so excited about running at the Grove' . Mike is not only a voice of NHRA Racing,,but without a doubt the nicest guy we have encountered over the many years of travel the East coast.

    So,,THAT'S who Mike Lewis is...!!!
