Where to get a setback plate for mnaifold?

    If its for a Kobelco superman , I still have a very nice one that was made by Fowler that I will I'll sell you.

    If the one from mike has the pie shaped opening, Buy it . I payed like $400 a new for one last year. Don

    I can identify the threaded holes for the blower studs, the countersunk holes to hold the plate to the intake, but what are the other holes for.

    You can drill and tap the little holes for extra fasteners to help hold down the plate.

    Are they needed because of the fact that the plate has been lightened?

    What happened that got them thinking they needed extra holddowns?

    Bob....what did I win? Hope it's a sack of 100 dollar bills. I Have a plate just like this one, never used the extra holes.... some of them did not line up with anything under them anyway. I never found that I needed them but, I dont make boost like Bob(the monster) Frigon does.

    Jody , you won my never ending respect!!! that and $2 might get you a cup of coffee :p
    I didnt use the extra holes either and I worked just fine. being milled out like that makes it more rigid than a flat plate, kind of like bead rolling a piece of sheet metal ;)

    Jody, It doesn't take much to make boost when you just have little bitch engine like mine :D
