    Hi All

    On a ProMag 44.

What makes the "noise"? - The generator or the coil?

Are they better close together or further apart ? (factory leads permitting)

    Thanks for the help

    Russ

The mag is the problem !

Ferrite (sp) beads are the fix !

Why do you ask? Is this a new setup, or do you have a problem?

I would think that EMI is being created anywhere that high voltage is flowing.

It comes from the generator, the spark jump in the rotor cap, the sparkplug wires, the field building and collapsing in the coil and the spark jumping the plug gap.
