wheelie bars

    i am looking to build a tripod wheelie bar for my funnycar and want to know what diameter c/m tubing are the top 2 bars and what diameter is the larger bottom bar also what wall thickness? anyone made their own and have some detailed pics could you send to smokinboyz@bigpond.com.au thanks peter.

    Wheelie Bar

    I have built a few of these...the first was a 1.125 top pair and 1.25 bottom...then for the other bar I bought an S&W kit...includes everything to build a 2 pc. wheelie bar - nice for loading and unloading the car...comes apart with a few quick pins (included in kit)...the S&W kit had a little smaller tubes....but seems to work just fine...McKinney also sells a tripod style kit...
