Hi just fitted a lencodrive to my fed now we have wheel stand issues

What length wheelie bar should I build
How high should I set it up at for the build.

Thinking it should be similar to a funny length and height.
    Single wheel

    225 long
    511 hemi
    2200hp roots deal.

You might want to consider adding a little weight to the front

Yes I'm in Australia and purple.
Car already has a lot of weight in the front.

Can't leave with any rpm at all.
Tryed take timing away at the hit made it worse.
So we added a little timing and gave it more blower.
    Also more tyre pressure.
Made it a little better but still lifted the wheels on take off and 2nd gear change.

I have added the tabs to the chassis just about to weld up the bars and need a length and starting height.

    Went 4.3 in the 1/8 175mph with a 1.7 60foot.
Thinking the wheelie bars will help the 60 times.

    Thanks Wayne.

    Wheel standing FED

Can you post how many inches out the motor is?
The centerline of the rear axle to the motor plate.
It can't be changed in most cases but I bet you need it to be about 44-46 inches.
I have a 225" FED and its only 36" out. It wheelies like it its job.

You need wheelspeed and a smallish rear tire. I ran a 15 x15 rear wheel with a 33 x 14.5 lightweight Hoosier tire. Taking power out will only increase the car trying to climb the ring gear. Like mike said a little weight in the nose, set the single wheel bar at 1.5 in and leave hard enough for the car to black track off the line...... It will settle down and haul ass. It will be eaiser to blow the tires off at the hit and then back it down a little than to keep wheelieing and shaking the car apart.

Take away a lb. or lb. & .5 of tire psi., much cheaper way to go. The weight deal (adding) coupled with substantially less tire psi. will work for you. If you're getting that much in the air, you'll just bend a wheelie bar and not truly correct the problem.
