ok now what are all the ways to gain
    wheel speed
im new to pro mod and have had low wheel speed
    on almost every run
    1800 @ .50 = shake for me
    2400 @.50 = 1.03 60 ' and 4.10 et
    ive had .995 60' but 1800 @ .50 = shake
all this is hard to learn when you dont have
    much track time
    specs on car
    526 ci 4.310x4.50
    brad fuel heads
    stage 10 block
    littlefield 14/71 hh 60 over 54psi
    11.75:1 compression
    cam 296/296 114 cl or 34degree @ .050 intake
10" crower 3 disc big stand with 2 lu fingers on in 3rd gear
4 fingers @20.5 grahms ea and2 lu fingers @22.5 on at 3rd shift
    4 turns base
    air.070/2step .020= 6200rpm at 10 ds rpm
    3 speed csi 2.98 1st gear
    4.30 rear gear (i have a new 4.56 3rd member that i may try)
    1022 rear tires
    2680 with me in it
scaled at haas 80lbs more left rear
shocks just revalved and dynoed (were very week 300 lbs on dyno)
drive shaft was too long and bottoming @ 1/2 compressed 16"

I'm not a pro mod expert, but with our funny car, when we wanted to increase the wheel speed, we took just about all the weight off the clutch (we ran 20 grams TOTAL), and had about 1150 lbs base in it (5 turns). Make sure you leave the line at about 5500, and don't have the motor too lean in the first 100 feet. 2400 wheel speed at 1/2 second sounds pretty good, the 4.56's might help.

three ways,..to get the wheel speed up

    spin the tire by,
    ..decreasing the rear tire pressure,.
...lower the wheelie bar more, to unload the tire
...add more clutch weight ,and launch with a higher rpm

..or a combination of all three...:D

"2400 @.50 = 1.03 60 ' and 4.10 et". Start with the clutch setup you used for this run. Try different stage RPM's. Whichever RPM is the smoothest, use that for stage. Start adding base (1 turn at a time)until it shakes, then back it off 1 turn. Now add counterweight evenly until it shakes, then back down on the weight. This is your clutch baseline. Your wheel speed should fall inline. If the clutch isn't locking up down track, start adding counterweight. When you do this, you need remove base or it will shake. And as always, keep a log of all your changes and make detailed notes about the run. Do you have a datalogger?
