What is the best bang for buck when it comes to weather stations, what sort of dollars will I have to spend and is it necessary for an a 1000hp engine? Thanks

I agree with John. I have had the best success with the Computech RaceAir Pro.

    Kestrel 4250

I have used several different weather stations and the current one is the Kestrel 4250. It will give you everything- actually way more than you need. They are under 300$ and you can put it in your pocket and take it anywhere. Its the unit the FAA uses to calibrate control tower altimeters at airports. Dave Germain
