U.S. Army to sponsor WAR Events

The U.S. Army has joined forces with the World Alcohol Racers in 2005 as an associate sponsor of the Thunder Nationals in Martin, Michigan and the Motown Showdown in Milan, Michigan. The U.S. Army will have a huge display in the Manufacturers Midway of each race as well as providing a color guard for the starting line ceremonies. Several displays with racecars are planed for the weeks leading up to the events and teams who are interested in displaying their racecars are asked to contact war Headquarters. “We are looking forward to getting involved with the World Alcohol Racers at both of these events as it will bring us face-to-face with thousands of young people that are our prime targets.
