tyre pressures

    can you guys tell me what pressures you guys are running your m t,s rail or fc.

    I run Hoosiers 34.5x17x16 on a F/C 6psi Jamie

    This is something you will have to experiment with. I've run anywhere from 4-6lbs with the Hoosiers. I found 5lbs. to be the best, but that depends on the chassis and the clutch setup.

    At the Pod we ran around 4.7 with Goodyears on the Alky Funny car and 4.5 on the dragster.
    We now run Hoosiers on the dragster and run 5.5 any less and it doesn't make full contact.

    A question here is do the alcohol funny cars run bead locks? If so are all these pressures that are posted with or without beadlocks? I know on a ProMod when we switched to beadlocks we had to up the tire pressure around 1 psi.
