Top Alcohol Driver stands update

    POSTER

    Attached is the final design that will be used for the stands. I understand some of you may or may not like the finished product however we are not going to please everyone. If you have a funny car or dragster, please specify that. Also if you want something different, Bruce at American Color scans will be glad to change modify or completely redo to you liking. The cost however of wanting anything other than the attached poster (other and funny car or dragster at top) will need to be discussed with Bruce.

    PHOTO

    Again, everyone wants something different but consensus of replies was to have the shot from the waist up with a team shirt. The most replies came back that a lot of fire suits “don’t look that good.” Crew shirts however will give some exposure to you sponsors, if you don’t have crew shirts, a nice shirt will photograph just fine. Again, if you want to take a picture in your fire suit that’s OK. I just think we need to look as professional as we can and the more we all have the same shots the more professional we look.

    Technical stuff

    The following images that need to be provide to Colorscans
    To send it via e-mail file it needs to be at least 300 dpi resolution and at least 6” x 6”
    (Opening and typing in a new, higher resolution on a low resolution file will not work)
    The other option is to go to a professional photographer (one can usually be found at the mall give the best lighting and results) Color scans will scan the picture at no charge. Keep in mind the better quality of the picture the better the results. (Won’t help some of us look any better).

    Stands will be ordered by Jan 15th and he needs to have at least have 25 orders for the price to $125.00. I have about 40 people want them so it shouldn’t be a problem
    If he doesn’t receive your order by the 15 of Jan the cost may go up because price was based on making at least 25 orders on the stands.

    How did you get your picture to post?
    I've tried to upload small pictures and excel files on my computer with no luck. The files and pictures were no larger than 35KB any sugestions?

    I'm a crew member on a TAFC team. For what it's worth, these look very good. These signs create a very nice, consistent image to the fan base. These help communicate the professional nature of these classes. Well done.

    I know I dont own a Alcohol team but
    Just looking at the picture it looks to me that the inside topalcohol.com need to be as big as the rest it kind of looks out of place with the others
    and it needs to be blue

    Ordering Stands

    Just to let everyone know as of 2:30 Monday Jan 9th American Colorscans has recieved 2 checks. Stands cannot be ordered until he recieves at least 25 orders to get the pricing on stands. If you guys want these stands and posters at this price you need to send in you money ASAP.

    Come on guys, get your moeny in! You all should look at this like a national event entry. If you don't get your entry and money in in time, you don't get to run. Mine is there, and if it wasn't already acocunted for, that makes three, a far cry from the 25 needed! So, if, like every other idea Will and other's have come up with, you all want to talk it up, then just let it fall, don't send you pic and money. I know Jeff, Will, and I will look professional! Sure hope the rest of you want to as well.....

    Checks in the mail.....No really it is ....sent it on Saturday 1/7/06 Details included with the check. Picture to follow as soon my driver pulls his head out long enough to shoot a picture!!!!

    Now it's time to vote for this idea with your check book!!!!

    Try it....you've spent More Money on worse things and probably got nothing left to show for it!!

    i'll get it off...i just figured this was like college. the project isn't due till the 15th....lol. i don't think i ever turned any projects in early :)

    Update

    As of 8:30 this morning Colorscans has only recieved 5 checks.

    Here is the list of people he has recieved checks from.
    Nathan Sitko
    Mert Littlefield
    Jason Rupert
    Lance Van Hauen
    Jeff Wilson

    The deadline was January 15th which was the date that was set in order to get these ordered, printed and shipped before Pomona. He has recieved e-mail from 14 others but with no checks he cannot order the stands. If you don't have your pictures yet you can follow up later, but he needs to have you checks before he orders the stands.

    If you want to make this happen you need to send you checks in.
