Titanium vs Stainless

What valves to use in BBC with 8000 rpm and 16/71 bracket racer. How many runs on Ti valves? Only have small budget.

 

only replying based on my experience. i run a lil' boat motor too (bbc) blown alky deal and i've had good luck with stainless valves. especially if you take $$ into consideration. just keep a good spring on them and do good valvetrain maintainence and you should be fine. rpm is probably your biggest consideration in my opinion and lack of maintainence is what usually spells the demise of one of these things anyways... unless your tune up kills it first.
