What sort of timing are people running at Idle and on trans brake to have a nice smooth idle? Car is pulling way to hard when in gear and is hard to manoeuvre precisely into burnout and into stage.. Thoughts? Currently running 26deg like we where with Clutch..

we're running 28* @ 1.4 gals per min, Bruno w/ b & j. 1800 to 2000 idle, not a problem. talk to the bishops, brays etc, you have lots running convertors there. if you haven't a logger, recommend to get one with flow meter - i like my rpm.

26* @ 0.85 gals / min at around 1970 rpm - if we fatten the idle up, the rpms just increase. Lencodrive with PSI screw. Manoeuvre the car in high gear forward and reverse. Take 15* out on a switch when changing forward/reverse. Have to use a fair bit of brake when staging....

I just jumped back in my blower car after running the slow bracket car for awhile. First thing I thought was, what the heck is wrong with the brakes in this thing!? Then I remembered.... oh ya, blower car. Took me awhile to get used to at first and I'm only idling 1800-1900. I don't see how some guys can stand 2200-2400.

That's correct. Easiest way. Had to find a way to stop breaking reversers. Seems to have worked (finger's crossed).
