Tell me its not true -Brookes rods

    Calling all contacts, Im told, but cant confirm that Brooks has closed their doors? Or am I just late on the pickup cause as we are down under. Trying to buy rods and no longer availble. Somebody pour water on this terrible rumour and owner is just having a long summer break I hope.

    went by today, locked up, the busness next door said it's been that way for a month or more, didn't know why

    Unbelievable! It's been a rough year for the high performance industry. There was just a handful of alcohol cars in Spokane. I just hope this isn't the sign of things to come. We are now using Howards Rods and they are holding up well. I'll be using them again when the time comes.

    changed over to bme last year, i used brooks for last 7 yrs have had threads pull out of brooks rods several times

    what is the price on a set of Howards? also what rpm you go throught the lights at??Dave

    Get a rod bolt stretch guage and make sure you are toquing them correctly according to the numbers on the guage.
