TAD run weight

    What does a typical TAD in NHRA trim weight at end of run. Say with 480CI engine ?

    If my math is correct 2120 would be the minimum.

    Minimum weight is 2050 for a blown car with a maximum cu. in. of 466. You get banged 5 lbs per cubic inch after that. This is for a screw blower, a roots gets more cu. in. and a different overdrive package, but the particulars escape me at the moment.

    If your driver weighs anything north of 180, it's going to take the car being on a weight diet to make south of 2150
