Server is Slow

    Will, why is the ITA server so slow? It has been like t.hat for over a week

    Its slow on my end also. thought it was just me. after a tracert it times out after Tranet.demarc.cogentco.com [216.29.188.150]

    This site and NHRA.com has been slow for me for about that amount of time.

    Any Ideas Will?

    Remember, it's not the points that are important. They only get you a #1 on NHRA's list. And we all know that's not what were shooting for!!! :D ;)

    Web sites with a lot of color, graphics, flash adds and high content take a while to load.
    Take the time to run disk clean up on your computer to remove unused files and junk from it. Remove cookies, Internet files and history.
    Every time you log onto the net and web sites your computer searches itself to see if that site is already there if it finds it and the web site has changed it updates the files on your computer. That adds more time for the web site to load.
    If a lot of people are visting the same site you are that adds more time also.
    If you use a dial up service like I do thats the price you pay, slow internet.
    The only real fix is to switch to a high speed service, I would love to switch to a high speed service but I just can't justify the cost of it.

    Bob, that may help some but not with this problem. I have a T2 line here at work and a DSL at home and ITA is slow on those. The ITA server is just plain slow. I hope Will hanna's new car is faster.

    Damn Bob throw the kitchen sink at it.
    Is that the same thing they used to do at Indy or any another race for that matter when it was last ditch qualfying and your still not in. The old go up 10% mag, 10% blower, & 10% nitro rule. The car was either going to haul ass, smoke, shake the tires or blow up.
    Or any combination of the above (4). But it was usually the latter that would happen.
    Sorry Mike didn't know you had a T2 line.
