Figured this may be a viable subject, so I reposted my own question from another thread.
I have a 206 b that has two narrow stripes down the center of the male rotor from the strip on the female. Not having any experience with screw blowers, I figured this was normal.
Should I be concerned running this blower? What does coating do or prevent?
Have not run blower yet, but came off a badass small block promod running 6.50s making 40+ lbs.
    Blower turns nice and loose.
    Thanks

The coating is used to close up the gaps between the screws and the case. If the blower is not banged and treated well the coating will last a long time.
