    Hi,
just trying to determine the rightful owner of a few cases of beer before we get into a fist fight :D :D :D

Which is lighter: a cast or a billet block of similar set-up (i.e. KB stage 10 vs BAE billet)??

And further more, will BBC heads fit on a 481X block??

Hoping for some help on these issues, and will post further questions as they pop up.

Thanks for a great forum :)

    Beer cases

I won,t bet my case of Heineken But I heard them claim that billet is stronger + lighter than cast. Also no 481 X will not bolt up to a Stock BB chevy. bolt pattern. Don

the billet blocks are easier to repair if they go BOOM.

Don't buy cast, and the lightweight newer billets are lighter. Go Brad or TFX, forged billet is cut with the grain as opposed with billet having the grains cut wherever they lay. No you can't put BBC heads on a 481X.

Is the 481x a head bolt pattern all of its own or does it match something else?
