We are looking to bring on a new crew member to our TA/D team. We are based out of Southern Illinois, and travel mostly the eastern half of the country.
You don't need to know everything (and absolutely can't think you do), because we teach our way of doing things. Pay is poor and the hours are long, but we have a good time.

Why don't you all move to south-east Illinois, and we'll have alot of fun.

    Jim,
Being a funny car driver usually doesn't get you many intelligence points, but hell, I even let Mick Snyder work on my stuff sometimes. LOL

We're getting some replies via e-mail.

Spitzer is finishing up the new car, and I'm in love with it. I thought our old car was nice, but they keep evolving up there. Can't wait to try her out.

    Take care,
    Marty

I saw the car at the Finals in November. That was it's 1st race, I believe. It is truly a wild piece. Awesome workmanship. You can walk around that car and look at it for a long time.

Still carry lots of sweet tea on board for the crew?
    Sounds like a good time.

My name is Alex and I'm willing to take the time to work for your team. Is this position still available?

Thanks all. I need to clarify what I was asking for. I would like to find someone in our area to help on the car. I'm getting too old to stay up til 3 AM every night, and still make to my day job at 7AM. We have 2 gentlemen from nearby who have expressed an interest. We'll have to wait and see how they work out, and if they decide to stick with it.
When I stated that the pay was poor, I meant there is no cash in it for anybody. If I gotta be poor, I think everyone should be poor. LOL
Still have to have fill ins from time to time, and we are still interested in talking to potential full timers. Just want enough to keep the car in tip-top shape, but noot enough that we have to sleep to close. LOL
Thanks again. 2 weeks to the Gators! Yee-Haa !
