Randy Meyer Racing Expands for 2014 Race Season

January 7th, 2014 – Top Alcohol Dragster champion driver and team owner, Randy Meyer, is looking forward to another successful year of racing with his Top Alcohol Dragster team, which includes his daughters, Megan and Rachel, who compete in the NHRA Super Comp Class. This year should prove even more exciting with the addition of a second A/Fuel Dragster.

Running more than one race car at a race event is not new for the Randy Meyer Racing Team. At certain races in the past, they have run multiple cars between Randy and his daughters. The team has also previously fielded two Top Alcohol Dragsters.

Randy believes adding a fourth dragster to the team will help guide them in the coming years. “This is a stepping stone,” said Randy, “as we prepare for the future when Megan and Rachel will both compete in the NHRA A/Fuel ranks.”

Randy is currently in negotiations with different driver possibilities, as well as finalizing the needed crew for the second car, which will compete at select NHRA national and regional races.
