Any thoughts on Racepac V300 vs. RPM data system on a top dragster seems the RPM system can save me some $ but I don't want to waste my hard earned cash

I have ran every computer out there and the RPM and Race Pac is the 2 best...I run a RPM now and love it not only for the price but for the tec support (any time day or nite) it is very user friendly...I will stay with RPM ..Dave Lowe

We run a rpm system on our blown hemi dragster,it's a fantastic system,we also have the rpm dash, which is also a superb bit of kit,the back up and support is second to none, randy is such a helpful guy to deal with,we fitted our system and it just worked straight away with no issues, can't recommend the rpm system enough !!!

    RPM All the way

    RPM 100%

Car wouldnt fire, were at the track, called Randy as I'd had logger, coil, mag, points box and tach convertor out, (front halved car - welding)

He guided me through making sure all was hooked up correctly, he even offered & then went online while on the phone with him, read me out msds wire diagram to coil as a double check.

Now I live halfway around the world.

(It turned out the magneto cap-adapt bolts had come undone)

    Thank you so much Randy.

    RPM ALL THE WAY.

Rpm. For the money it is a no-brainer. The fact that he is really good about taking calls after hours makes it that much better.

I run a boat Randy told me the first year he would warranty anything. Even sinking the boat & getting it wet. Had it for 5 years work's perfect. Get the wireless download it's awesome. He even gave me his cell and he does answer it on the weekends & at lunch. Top that.

Sounds like you're sold but I must add, We had something weird going on w/ our EGT's dropping out halfway through the run...called Randy up and he just sent me a new egt box due to a possible soldering issue. This is at least a 5 year old system, he said it's lifetime warranty. Thought he was joking. Totally recommend.

Well, got to say this. No doubt the RPM is great and the support is great and I have had one BUT and I say BUT I much prefer the Racepak V300 system. I like the way the Racepak appears better than the RPM. It just suits me better. Yep, a little more money but I think a better system. Lets talk about support. At every race I go to being ADRL, or NHRA or other top races there is a Racepak rep always there and if not I can call Eric Lowe or Todd Paton and Racepak and get help. I would not have a problem in putting a RPM unit on a car but I prefer the Racepak.

    rpm

The only weakness I know of with RPM is pro level guys use racepak. If you want to bounce tuneups and data off the fast guys they will not be familiar with RPM from what i've seen.

For the money go with Randy and the RPM, Great 24-7 like customer service, way less expensive, and it does like 99 percent of the same things as the racepak. Just the connectors aren't as pretty. I have an RPM and will run it on both of my cars. The RPM unit was on the low 6 second top dragster I tuned on and worked beautifully once I reset the calibrations from the owner who was an idiot.
