RACE PACK SC1000

Is anyone using a Race Pack SC1000 data recorder
and if so how is it working with a MAG 44

 

I installed a used 1000 on friends a-fuel car several years ago. It came off of a TF car and had one flow meter. It has worked fairly well but is a bit more complicated to use as the switches have to be in correct pos. to run and then changed to download. The only real problem with this old of a unit is that Racepac no longer manufactures it. They have checked out and will help with problems at national events though. If you have serious problems with it you might have to chunk. Don't know what kind of car you have but the new 300 series might be a cheaper alternative. I have a pro II Racepac and it has everything but will hurt your pocket book. Never sorry we bit the bullet on the best computer though. The first thing you should buy is a good computer. If you don't believe me just ask any pro racer or national contender.
