Just scaled my blown altered because of car being all over the track.
this car was built to a Mark Williams plan.
    It has angular spindles.
What should the preload be ?
And how can I change it ?

    Thanks:confused:

IMO A good starting place is about 40 to 50 lbs heavy on the right rear on a solid FC style chassis.Every car is different. And that is with it ready to run as it would be on the starting line. Most cars have adjustable spindles nowadays. That is the easiest way to adjust it. If not you'll have to do it with weight Make sure your Toe is set correctly. That will also drive it nuts

Preload is to be discussed after a car goes down the track many times, if you don't understand it, it can get you hurt.
You have other problems, I'm sure. Call me 5-6 PM PST, and we can go over the other 600 things it may be. Like Marc says, all cars are different. 619-440-7701

    Bob,
Thanks for your reply this car has been down the track a lot of time but not always straight. had a crash in it a year ago weld broke on a spindle.
Car is fixed, just wanted to get on top of everything.
Had problems last week when took it out. With steering & when the chute blossomed.
I am in another time zone email would be better than a phone call. info@quickcutconcrete.com.au
    Thanks
