Do cam bearings need pinned in an alum block? have several blocks that are not and one that is. Have a motor that the rear bearing came out forward. It is a 55mm cam and shows just over .001 runout, (didn't think that was bad) I think I have had a problem with this block before in the 4th bearing. just wondering if pinning would help

I have 2 MBR billet blocks, one CN, the other AJ built. They both are pinned. The CN uses threaded set screws, and the AJ uses roll pins driven through the oiling holes.I would pin them for sure if you are having problems.
