I had a gasket under a fuel cell cap leak, dribbled back to the mag which was about 4" behing the tank. Made a nice flash fire I felt in the car and then caught the cell.

    Fuel leak ??

What difference is there between the mag sitting NEXT to the pump and The mag Sitting BEHIND the Dist' Block & all the fuel lines to the hat (other than the pressure diff') Or right Next to the port nozzle block at the front of the motor ?????

If you have a fuel leak at the pump !!! Remove head from a$$ before proceeding

My mag mounts hemi location now, no fuel lines close like a chevy. True no one plans on a line leak, but I have seen several cars leak at the shutoff over the years. I suppose theres more than just one head up the ass nitrodude or have you ever had a issue before?

    You shouldnt knock innovation,
..be lucky there are guys still out there trying to make new parts for the racer.

If there are issues with fuel leaking at the fuel shut off that is the shut off manufacters part issue,.. NOT SPUDS,.

    Awesome NEW PIECE SPUD !!!!!!!!

This gearbox unit is intended to mount to the motor on the end of a pump extension in place of your fuel pump!

    Fuel leak ??

    That's OK Chase ,
These units appear to be a copy of the Enderle Dual Fuel Pump drive , But with a wider Spread between the driven shafts .

I have dozens of the Enderle units in service , using pumps of all sizes , adapting the mag to them .
The Waterman Lil' bertha will work as is , because it is offset .
The Enderle 80a series will work because they are small in dia'
The Enderle 110 Series , from 600 to 1200 will work , if you rotate the pump slightly clockwise , from vertical , and cut a small radius in the pump cover& body , between two of the cover bolts to clear the mag .

The unit pictured is a good choice for the guy who wants to keep the pump inlet & outlet vertical and does not choose to do the adaptation . It is a good piece !

I strongly suggest one or even two support rods , one from the idler plate to the back of the drive !

Oh yeah , the Fuel Leak , Shawn
I too have seen Shutoff "O" rings leak , until they get soaked a little & desist , and are forgotten !
That's where the HUA statement originates ----

Fix it before taking it to the line (proceeding), for SAFETY'S SAKE , cause if it starts leaking there , you will be shut OFF

Taken from another website, quoted from Spud Miller himself:
"This piece was a collaboration with Kent Enderle."

Not a copy of Enderle, but designed with his help.

"This is an updated version of the "dual drive" with a new wider spacing between stations so that Mallory or MSD Mags will fit next to a large bodied fuel pump with ease. "

Genuine great parts & service, brought to you by Fuel Injection Enterprises (again!).

I would say that the shutoff is more likely to have a leak than the pump its self.

I never had a leak at the "Dist' " block but it is not uncommon to have leaks at the o-rings of the fuel shutoff !

IF IT'S IN YOUR FACE , YOU'RE IN THE WRONG PLACE

I read that Shawn had a fuel tank cap leak. Something kind of hard to detect without leaving the starting line. In the racing world, sometimes things just happen. The list of drag racing's legends that have had unexspected thing go wrong in there racing careers could fill thousands of pages in a how to book. Mabey you should take a minute and pull your head out of your azz before you post!
