Nancy Matter Racing partners with Angus Asphalt for '07 Race Season

    Matter signs Angus Asphalt

    The Top Alcohol Funny Car Team of Nancy Matter has signed an associate sponsorship with Angus Asphalt, Inc. of San Diego, California for the 2007 racing season. Angus Asphalt, Inc. is a general contractor that is OSHA Certified and offers full turn key asphalt and concrete services from their Southern California home base.

    "We are extremely excited to introduce Angus Asphalt into the drag racing community and look forward to a long term relationship with them in the future" said Matter who is beginning her 2nd full year of competition in her Camaro funny car. She continues "We have a lot of data from last year that will help us immensely this year and we're looking forward to our first race and getting this ERR/Angus Asphalt car on the winning track".

    Charles West of Angus Asphalt adds "We've been watching Nancy's progress since she was in Super Comp. She's very determined and works hard at everything she's accomplished. We're ecstatic to be a part of her team's future success within the Top Alcohol Funny Car ranks".

    Thanks Ro, it takes a lot of work to earn trust from companies, but slowly, we're getting there. It's really helped that I have some video of the car where we go straight down the groove and run in the 5's. That's helped a lot, thanks to Vern Moat's Friend Lonnie from Iowa for that particular clip.
