What are people's thought on these two? From as far back as I can remember we've always used Clevite bearings in our motors, and on the whole everyone seems to go with them.

But as the season is now over its time to start putting together a shopping list of parts for a rebuild and spares for next year, looking at King's information it seems to make sense, alecular bi-metal bearings with greater embedability, closer tolerances etc they look like a really good alternative.

    Just wondering personal experiances? Thanks

We went to Kings from Clevites several years ago because of chatter marks in them. We like them and continue to use them.

    Bearings

    x2 on King

Have never used anything but King bearings.
Everything comes apart in perfect condition.

our clevites always come out perfect and always have, oiling and oil used have a lot to do with how your bearings come out we turn our motor to over 10,000 and have never had bad bearings Im sure king bearings are good but if you have a problem the bearing wont cure it, we cycle our bearings and if there not crushed they go right back in,
