    just got off the phone with steve harker. kate is ok. she is at the hospital and getting a cat scan as a precaution. she may be released as early as the morning. she got her bell rung pretty good and has a sore ankle...no broken bones. more news as I get it but she is ok.

    Thanks for the update Will. When I read what had happened immeidately thoughts of Shelly came to mind. Glad to hear Kate is going to be fine!

    I am glad to hear that she is okay.

    Does anyone know what caused it? People at the track were saying it might have been a stuck throttle.

    That was a scary crash. I was at half track on the right side of the track and saw the whole thing. Seems like there are a lot of TADs that crash at Sonoma. I was there for Hudson and Demeke's crashes too.

    Watched the Somona Alky show last night on ESPN2... Kate went for one hell of a nasty ride there... Glad to hear that she is a-ok...

    Any word on what her and Tom's plans are???

    That was one hell of a blowover cought by the espn cameras. Thank god she is alright considering she hit the wall a couple of times. All safety the equipment did its job. Very happy to she is recovering fine and hope to she on the track sometime soon.

    I was talking with her Dad and sister this weekend and she is doing great. I must say they are very nice people to talk with and I wish them all the luck.
