Jason Cannon injured in freak work accident

    i just got word that Jason Cannon was injured in a freak work related accident. Apparently he tried to stop a run away boat on a trailer and one of the rope tie downs broke his wrist and cut his hand up pretty good. he is ok, but the doctors haven't determined how long the recovery will be. it looks like our year is pretty well done.

    well the latest word i have is that he will not require surgery - no tendons or ligaments were torn. his left wrist and hand were broken though. right now he has a splint on it and the doctors are working to get the swelling to go down. after the swelling goes down he will be in a cast for 6-8 weeks.

    well, it looks like things could shine through.

    jason will get his permanent cast on monday. doctor said the cast could be off in as soon as 6 weeks. since it is his left hand, he should be good to drive as soon as the cast comes off. right now there is 8 weeks until the allstars.

    john haley would have to win to pass jason for the allstar spot.

    Thats great News Will! Hope everything works out.

    That John Haley is a tough Customer though. I am not sure what the rest of his season plans are but it looks like hes getting a good handle on his new car.

    So Will does that mean you will be routing for Bartone in Atlanta LOL.
