    the block will crack
cracks the main webbing all the way up the cly wall to deck
cast can not flex and will break where as the alum moves around not cracking as easy

Depends on how much power you want to make.
I ran one for years with 671 blower, stock steel heads, 85%, 30% od. Ran 6.40, 230 mph. Prob. making about 1400 hp. Try to do much more than that and it might break but I ran blocks, heads,
stock stroke NASCAR crank, rods and pistons for more than a full season without changing anything.
We ran on snot then would run better with todays parts and tracks. I went to the KB block but mainly for the weight and to be able to change sleeves when they wore out.
