Intake lapping

    I use the lapping plate that RBS sells. He can provide replacement pads. I think they are around 40 grit? I like to use blue tool makers ink to see where I am at. I do the intake while it is torqued down on the heads. just let the plate do the work with figure 8 pattern. use shop vac to keep the pad from clogging up. I have used it to flatten out a lot of old parts.

    What about the bottom of the blower,and the set back plate ,this is a roots.

    I have used my plate to flatten everything I have. Bottom of block for pan rails. blower, injector you name it. Just make some good block off plugs to keep the grit contained.
