we put a quick disconnect fitting in pan sucked fuild out through 3 tranny coolers .using a tilton rear gearoil pump from jegs/summit . and put it back in where the pressure gauge goes in at with a quick disconnect fitting this way it goes through converter

    cooling trans

    Dave,
Check with Scott Gaulter. I think I remember him using a really trick cooling unit when he was running a converter set up. Not sure if he built it or not himself but seems to me he posted photos of it here once. I know someone has posted photos of some really "COOL" trans coolers...

Mick Synder at Synder Motor Sports sells a ice chest on wheels that has a 120 volt pump on it and transmission coolers inside the ice chest. It uses those quick disconnect Jiffy Tite fittings. You install a Tee fitting on the tube that goes to the Bruno pressure gauge and another one on a fitting into the Bruno pan. You fill the ice chest with water and ice and the pump pulls the ATF out of the Bruno pan cools it in the ice chest and pushes it into the converter. Works great. As soon as the car arrives back in the pits we hook it up and cool it.

Is there a way to hook up lines to a Quickdrive that will circulate the oil in the converter?
