    Hi Guys,
    First time poster.

I have a new dart little m sbc, 331ci 23* pontiac motorsport heads with 8/71, not running water, has ran 7.20, with old block, guessing aprox 1200hp.
My question is how far should i grout fill the block, just to water pump holes or go higher.

    thanks in advance Glenn.

    Hi Glenn:
I always filled my blown small blocks half way up the water pump holes.
Before you do though, id research that Dart block some more. Those blocks are strong and might not need to be filled. I have a Dart Big M with a lot more cylinder pressure than you will make with out filling it.. Are the cylinder walls thick enough to take it with out the extra weight.? What bore are you running?

    Thanks for the reply,
Our last factory block was filled to the water pump holes, I will be running 4.010 bore and they are a Siamese bore, the block can go out to 4.185 so should be pretty thick.
