Fresh Air System

i am looking into fresh air systems, which one is the most recommended? and who makes them besides simpson? also need some info on refilling and if a small scuba bottle would work. Thanks in advance

Guys, I "think" Simpson is the only NHRA approved pressurized fresh air system available.

Yes, you can fill it from a scuba tank. I am doing mine that way. You can also use a fireman's portable air sys to fill from.

Your local fire dept can fill your Simpson bottle for you, as can a dive shop.

There are a few fresh filtered air systems out there. The desert racer and some stock car guys use them. I don't think they are legal for a funnycar though.

Not for certain but I think they are selling Simpsons system. They are the only ones that make them CURRENTLY!!

The Simpson system that has been on backorder for four or five months just showed up today. (Fri. 4/20/07) So I guess they will try to catch up.
