From what I hear that is where Racepak buys theirs from. I use them.

You can buy the box from Racepak and still install your own EGTs.

For 15 or more years Exhaust Gas made the EGT sensors for Racepak. Sometime in 2011 RP switched to a different supplier. They are switching back any day now.

Exhaust Gas has been running a sale on the sensors for a while.

Definitely the best stuff out there.

There is no alternative to the RP boxes - $1100 out of the $1400.

    EGT senders

we just brought a set of 8 from Ebay for US$20 each, they appear to work fine, initially I compared them to the old racepak units before replacing the lot.

Becareful because there are EGT sensors out there that just will not survive in our environment. The heat insulation around the tip (sensor) falls out and then it is no good anymore. If you look at the probe tip you will see the white or cream colored filling around the tip and that is what breaks and falls out. That is why we started to buy from Exhaustgas.com because theirs will survive.

good point Mike, the cheap ones I brought from ebay appear to be 1 piece sealed stainless and I could not see any filling at the end like my old racepak units. I guess time will tell but they have lived for 2 months so far !! Cheers

2 - 4" from the flange and for Gas & Alcohol in the middle of the tube,
    Nitro is about a 1/4"

I think he meant ¼" into the tube, not from the flange
