Was wondering if anyone is running the prolite350 style hose which is lighter because it doesn’t have the stainless braid on the inside or does everyone use the ultra flex or pro style which still is black on the outside but has the stainless braid under it. Supposedly they are the same inner material that the methanol runs in.

    Thanks Steve

It may have been a production problem, but I had a customer buy a bunch of the proflex hose and every -6 fitting leaked like a irrigation system.

I can't comment on the Earls but I with the Goodridge hose - our lightweight hoses are lighter due to having a PTFE (Teflon) inner hose vs rubber. Then depending on which product line you go with - with the kevlar outer braid being the lightest vs the conventional stainless steel. When you compare PTFE/Kevlar hose to Rubber/Stainless hose, you see a distinct drop in weight.

Thanks Will, you sell them or where do you recommend purchasing them from?

    Thanks,
