    Does anyone know if you can pull off the cylinder heads leaving the manifold and blower intact?

    No Kent you can not get a head off the 417 without removing the intake.... the only one I am aware of that you can sneek the head out is the Fontana...........Hey if you need any parts for your 417 project let me know we still have a few real nice parts left including a set of new billet heads
