Inspecting the crankshaft the other night, I discovered a crack in the #6 rod journal, goes from the edge in about 1/2", and all the way through to the lightening hole.

So, I'm looking to replace it.

KB 426 Hemi Stage 5 block, current crank is a (Stamped) Hummel 3.850 (Etched) Precision Crankshaft Grinding Inc (Ground) B.W.2500

I'm considering Bryant, Winberg, and Ohio Crankshaft. Any others to consider? I understand that Bryant and Winberg are top of the line, what are your thoughts on Ohio or the others?

    Thx,

    Bill

Bryant only if you don't want to waste your money in the end.

Since it's the heart of the engine, I won't cut corners on the crank. Winberg is the best, in my opinion. When you figure the efficiency and service you get out of them, compared to a lower priced crank, they are the better value.
