Should I buy one:confused:This is the only thing I can think of to solve the problem, I run approx 40 pound boost' tired of buying bearings. I think it's a line bore problem..crank support is great for the front bearing and for the front of the snout of the crank...check line bore..Dave

The main brgs. that take the most abuse are number 2 and 3 because the combustion pressure pushing down on the crank and the blower drive pulley pulling up on the crank nose.A support should help your problem.

A bearing support should take care of this problem typical of a chevy. I had issues with 2 and 3 mains on my old chevy deal and when I finally spun number 2 main I went to a crank support and never ever had an issue.

I had a bearing problem with the main bearings on a BBC till I installed a crankshaft windage tray. The tray keeps the oil from being suspended in the upper part of the block and from the oil being thrown into the valley. I could see on the data system that the oil pressure would drop in the burn off and a 3rd of the way down the track. Hope this helps and it can't hurt. Chuck

We use a front crank support and we find that it stops our crank from flexing and gives more life to the main bearings especially number one and two.

We used to run BBC's LF HH 14's.
When we didn't have a handle on our fuel systems we would ruin the main bearings at 12 runs.
We would also knock the porcelain out of the spark plugs, spit head gaskets out, etc.
