could snake be looking into the alky ranks?

    with all the hubbub on who's going to replace ace as capps crew chief, maybe he should look into the alky ranks. its pretty much a given that they aren't going to win teh championship this year, and there arent any super tuners out there that dont have a job, for the most part anyway, or that havent already been fired by him. i dont look for armstrong to go back or cerny.

    few names - mandoline, grimes, conway, boggs, randy meyer would all make excellent fuel chiefs. mandoline already has fuel exp. with wilk.

    just a thought...

    ACE is gone story on the NHRA sight........All the guys you mentioned would be great fits for Snake.....I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Boggs when I worked for Jimmy......

    I know one thing, Fred isn't going to kiss Snakes ass!

    In order to clear up the rumors, Snake called me Sunday evening to discuss the opening, but we didn't agree on anything as of yet. A much sweeter deal will become available after Pomona.
