Cometic head gaskets

    ive got an alcohol small block with a small roots blower, 1300 hp max. i was wondering if any of you have any experience with the cometic gaskets. for gas engines, they are supposed to be the bees knees, but i dont know if they will hold up under blown alky.

    would i be better off with o rings and copper gaskets?

    well, am i being cynical, or does it not seem like a good idea to call a guy at Cometic to ask him whether or not his gasket will be better than a copper and o-ring setup?

    dont get me wrong, id rather run a cometic if it means i dont have to cut the block, but id rather be safe than sorry.
