Chevy starter / flywheel

    Looking for a solution. What flywheel / ring gear / starter combination will work with the new extended liner in my Chevy 6.3 TT bellhousing? Crower 10" clutch.

    was told the trick is an AMC starter ring that is a bit smaller than the chevy. Requires turning the flywheel down an bit... and drilling for the smaller ring. Also need to either fill and redrill the starter boss to offset it inward or replace the starter snout and offset it inward. Roger at crower is a good place to start

    Thank you for the reply. Looks like I'll have to replace my flywheel, as it is an older pocket milled piece that can't be safely modified. Roger at Crower has been very helpful, as you suggested. I'll share the amount of starter offset required once I figure it out.
